Vision Statement
Jackson County maintains a strong, fair, welcoming public library system in Jackson County, connected to the Fontana Regional Library.
 

Mission Statement
Our mission is to protect and strengthen Jackson County Public Libraries by:

  • Sharing clear, non-partisan facts about how our libraries are run and funded, with a focus on First Amendment rights.

  • Encouraging community involvement and support for staying in the Fontana Regional Library System.

  • Defending the rights of library staff and patrons to access a well-managed, legally sound public library.

  • Promoting open communication and cooperation between the public, library leaders, and local government to ensure our libraries thrive.
     

Values

  • Inclusive messaging, non-partisan, non-religious

  • Support for the library and FRL

  • No ad hominem attacks

  • No violence to people or places or threats of violence to people or places

  • Use fact-based presentations to the public and commissioners centered on library function and other relevant topics
