Upcoming Events
Are you looking for a way to support the effort to protect our libraries? Consider attending one or more of the upcoming county commissioners’ or library board meetings. We’d like to really show up for these meetings, but not every one of us has the time to attend every meeting. Instead, we’re asking all supporters to consider attending when you can.
There is no limit on numbers of attendees, and you can just show up and listen, or you can speak at most of these meetings (please see the individual event entry for instructions). We encourage you to attend as many of these meetings as you are able.
Having large numbers in the audience (wear yellow if you can) lets these boards know that we are not going away. The libraries are critical services in our county, and we want to make our presence felt as these groups consider their fate.
And, don’t forget to join us for JCPL Allies-sponsored events. Can’t wait to see you!

This will be the last FRL meeting prior to the separation of the Jackson County Public Libraries from the FRL. Please wear yellow to show your support for our libraries.

Join us for a Read-In! Come and relax, read, and connect with other readers. You are welcome to read quietly or chat with others about whatever you're currently reading. We'll also have some books on hand provided by the Friends of the Jackson County Public Library if you'd like to try something new.
JCPL Allies will be on hand to answer questions you might have about the Jackson County Public Libraries. And, White Moon Cafe will have beverages and food available for purchase.
